Job Description: Cloud QE Engineer

Location: San Diego (92123), CA

We are looking for a Cloud QE Engineer (4 months with possible extension) with significant experience with cloud platforms and technologies. Candidate must have significant experience with cloud migration focusing on nonfunctional testing like (Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability, Security and Disaster Recovery)

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with Non-Functional Requirement Analysis and testing
• Plan, design, and execute load, stress, and scalability tests to assess application performance in the cloud.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Conduct high availability, failover, and disaster recovery testing to ensure system resilience in the cloud environment.
• Verify data integrity and validate data transformation during migration.
• Perform security assessments, penetration testing, and compliance testing to ensure the application's security in the cloud.
• Conduct disaster recovery drills to validate recovery procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• years of experience in quality assurance and non-functional testing, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud services.
• Experience with security testing, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) a plus.
