Advocare Brighton Pediatrics is a well-established and thriving practice located in Egg Harbor Township, near the coastline and beautiful beaches of Southern New Jersey. We are excitedly seeking both a board certified/eligible FT/PT Pediatrician and a FT/PT Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of three providers. We offer a warm, welcoming, evidence-based medical home to all of our patients and their families. For our practitioners, the practice of medicine is exclusively office based without newborn nursery or inpatient care required. We offer a very competitive salary, benefits package, and an opportunity for partnership. Further, our call schedule allows for few night and weekend interruptions as all of our after-hour parent calls are filtered through a pediatric nurse triage service.

Essential Functions:
Performing physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses
Administering and performing diagnostic tests.
Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
Educating and counseling patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans, and home care.
Facilitating the patient’s transition within and between health care settings, e.g., admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
Planning and managing patient care according to the patient’s needs
Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPPA, OSHA, etc.
Actively maintaining knowledge of current medical research and trends
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work.
Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare workers, and collaborate with team members
Must be able to think critically, evaluate various options to treat a condition and then identify the one he or she decides will have the best outcome.
Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced yet friendly environment
Must be well organized and detail-oriented; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion concerning health service records and information
Education and Experience:
Board Certified Advanced Practice Nurse licensure required
Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program, such as a Master of Science in nursing
Must have a current license to practice as a nurse practitioner in New Jersey
