The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to care center patients under supervision of Physicians and Practice Manager.

Essential Functions:
· Provides general nursing care to patients aged 0 -20yrs.
· Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials.
· Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
· Observes, records and reports patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
· Educates patient & family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.
· Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screens patients for appropriation information.
· Instruct patients in collection of samples and tests.
· Maintains/reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Posts tests and examination results.
· Responds to/refers incoming patient treatment-related phone calls. Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
· Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.
· Perform other duties/tasks as requested by providers, coordinators, and management in accordance with office procedures/policies.
· Maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling patient's medical records and information.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficient in administrative tasks
· Must be highly organized and detail-oriented; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility.
· Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical record systems
· Ability to communicate effectively and verbalize ideas.
· Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrates the highest level of customer/client service and response.
· Demonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
· Must have an active LPN license.
· Completion of an approved LPN program required.
· Minimum of one-year professional nursing experience, clinic experience preferred.
· Must maintain CPR certification.
