Role Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our fabrication shop's production quality. You will be responsible for implementing and managing quality control processes from material receipt through to the final inspection of fabricated and welded assemblies. This position is ideal for a meticulous individual who is proficient in technical drawing interpretation and possesses a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct comprehensive quality control inspections, including material receipt, workmanship, and final inspections on fabricated and welded assemblies.

· Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production and conformity to industry standards.

· Utilize Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word to prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings and quality assurance outcomes.

· Uphold the standards of visual inspection certification to SNT-TC-1A Level II for weld inspections, ensuring all products meet stringent quality requirements.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in quality control processes within a light fabrication environment.

· Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

· Strong capabilities in report preparation and data management using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word).

· Must hold a current visual inspection certification to SNT-TC-1A Level II in weld inspection.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
