As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The population you will serve will range in age from 18months to 13 years old. Paid Time Off (PTO); Full-time employees accrue PTO at 2.69 hours per pay period, up to 70 hours per year and can roll over up to 40 hours each year.
Sick Time: Full-time employees accrue sick time at 2.69 hours per pay period up to 70 hours per year in accordance with OR state statute.
Paid Holidays: Full-time employees are given 9 paid holiday days (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas day)
Employee Assistance Plan: All employees are provided with the services of Canopy EAP free of charge during their employment.
Health Insurance: Full-time employees qualify after 30 days with health Insurance beginning on the 1st of the following month. Three plans are available to choose from, or you may receive a stipend towards health insurance if you choose not to use AwA Health Insurance (proof of insurance required).
Flexible Spending Account: Full-time employees have access to contribute pre-tax earnings to an FSA of their choice for healthcare and/or dependent care.
Dental:Full-time employees qualify for dental coverage after 30 days, with coverage beginning on the 1st of the following month.
Access to Roth IRA: Full-time employees can contribute to a Roth IRA
Weekly Professional Trainings: Full-time employees receive training every Wednesday from our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
CPR/First Aid certification: Full-time employees receive First Aid/CPR training at no-cost to them (Adult/Child/Infant)
Base Salary:
Your annual base salary will be $34,080.00 per year, before taxes and other deductions.

Your total compensation package encompasses not only your base salary but also includes the value of additional benefits. This holistic view of your compensation reflects our investment in your well-being and success both within and beyond the workplace.
Raise Eligibility:
RBT Competency is an RBT-initiated process for technicians to demonstrate skills, initiative, and self-reflective practices. In an employee's first 9 months of employment, they are eligible to a raise totaling $36,608.
In addition, employees are eligible for up to a 5% cost of living increase at their annual review.
RBT Training:
Registered Behavior Technicians must complete a 40-hour online training course in their first two weeks of employment. This training is completed outside work hours and is unpaid.
Oregon Health License:
Behavior Technicians must hold an Oregon Health License while providing ABA services. AwA will apply for and cover the renewal fees for this license.
