Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Physical Therapist (PT) you will:
Participate in the evaluation, planning and implementation of specific treatment and prevention programs for chronic conditions, illnesses, and/or musculoskeletal injuries in accordance with patient needs.
Provide services that will restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain and assist patients in reaching their maximum performance level.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team regarding the needs of the patient and serve as an educator to patients and families.

Qualifications include:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited PT program
Active Maryland PT license required
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum of 5 years experience for any Senior PT

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will:
Communicate with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience.
Administer physical therapy interventions and treatments according to agency’s accepted policies and procedures.
Apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plan patient care with appropriate patient goals.
Complete documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner.
Assume responsibility for personal and professional development.
Administer and supervise physical therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist.
Coordinate care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs.

Qualifications Include:
Maryland Physical Therapy Assistance Licensure
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

Full Time Monday-Friday alternating schedule includes 2 evenings/week
