Adventist Health is Hiring a Speech Language Pathologist – Full Time Temporary, Inpatient, Hanford, Tulare Near Hanford, CA

Located in a tight-knit community in Kings County, Adventist Health Hanford has been serving the Central Valley since 1965. Adventist Health is seeking a motivated temporary speech language pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Hanford, CA. This position will evaluate and treat patients at both the Hanford and Tulare hospitals as well as perform VFSS at Hanford. Enjoy an excellent team environment working alongside highly skilled and collaborative physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists. Our team also includes rehab therapy aides to support you in providing high quality care and exceptional patient experiences. Essential Functions: 

Patient caseload of 7-10 patients/day. Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Education: 

Master’s Degree: Required

Work Experience:

One year of inpatient Speech Language Pathology experience: Required

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA)

Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competency: Required
