We're looking for someone to join our team as a Patient Care Technician who:

Performs a variety of duties involving the observation of cardiac monitors, interpretation and documentation of Cardiac Rhythm strips. Provides personal patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with patient care activities, as needed, under the guidance of the Charge Nurse or shift leader. Maintains work area(s) and equipment through cleaning, stocking and ordering of supplies.
  • Takes and records vital signs, including pain scale according to established policies and procedures.
  • Performs clerical duties, including chart management and maintaining unit supplies and forms. Manages front desk, assembling and maintaining medical charts.
  • Maintains work area(s) and equipment through cleaning, stocking and ordering of supplies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Work Experience:

  • Medical secretary/receptionist experience: Preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required

The estimated base pay for this position is $15.50 to $24.49. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through years of experience, differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
