Located in Kailua, Hawaii, Adventist Health Castle serves all of O`ahu and is the primary healthcare facility for the Windward side of the island. We're looking for someone to join our team as a Speech Pathologist who:

Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Essential Functions:

  • Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.
  • Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
  • Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.
  • Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
  • Supervises assistants and support staff.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

Education:

  • Master's Degree: Required

Work Experience:

  • Two years Speech Language Pathology experience: Preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification: Required
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Required
  • Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
