*The role you’ll contribute:*
The interventional technologist is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team consisting of interventional radiologists, nurses and technologists. Interventional technology procedures consist of diagnostic angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
*The value you’ll bring to the team:*
* Ability to learn and use Radiology software packages such as IDX, Radworks, Current PACS application.
* Ability to quickly learn and follow departmental policies and procedures.
* Maintain responsibility for all Hospital continuing and annual education.
* Must maintain all required registries and licenses to perform imaging procedures.
* Ability to follow Basic Radiation Safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patients and staff.
*The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:*
* High School Diploma/equivalent
* Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology
* Two years’ experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist
* ARRT and State of FL
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.57 - $45.85 per hour
