The role you’ll contribute:
The Anesthesia Tech Advanced CVOR provides a highly technical & knowledge based skill-set under the direction the Anesthesiologist, CRNA & Registered Nurse to assist and to carry out a safe operation with optimal results for the patient. CVOR Anesthesia technical personnel are a part of the anesthesia care team as listed in the practice guidelines of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Determines specific equipment needed per surgical and/or anesthesia procedure.
• Reviews case load and studies, prepares and sets up for pending surgical procedures.
• Assists in moving, transporting and positioning the patient (is familiar with positioning per each surgeon’s preference, positioning devices and equipment).
• Appropriately preps and drapes the patient within the surgeon’s and/or anesthesia guidelines and practice standards.
• Maintains the integrity of sterile field.
