Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Monday – Friday 0800 - 1630

Location: 10 John Davenport Drive, Rome, GA 30165

The role you’ll contribute:

Associate assist in the successful operation of the department. This includes assessing the needs of the service, developing long and short term plans and goals, implementing plans, policies, and procedures, evaluating the plans, competency of staff, staffing plan and performance improvement issues. Provides leadership to associates and upholds the organizational values and missions. Position is a role model for service excellence behaviors. Provides direction, leadership and day to day management of the assigned Department inclusive of marketing, communications, and fleet services. Assists in measuring, evaluating, and validating response time performance to ensure excellence in all contractual areas and to maximize customer satisfaction.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Ensures ambulances are appropriately stocked and outfitted to comply with local, state, and federal requirements and local Medical Direction Standards.
  • Ensures compliance with local policies and Medical Direction requirements governing new employee orientation programs, oversees new employee orientation programs to ensure new employees receive comprehensive exposure and training for ongoing quality and employee satisfaction.
  • Assists in researching / developing new or revised procedures, concepts and techniques relevant to quality care and service; works with employees to correct deficiencies or to strengthen the level of service needed. Assists with recruiting, retention, separations, disciplinary actions, salary actions, and annual performance reviews.
Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed
:

  • Graduate of an accredited Paramedic Program
  • BLS, ACLS, EPC or PALS required. An instructor card in any of these certifications will also suffice.
  • Current GA Paramedic License
  • PHTLS preferred
