You Will Be Responsible For :

• Assures that all foods are cooked to the state of being done and holds foods in safe zones,
• Cleans and sanitizes all work environments,
• Cooks and bakes all hot foods for patient tray line and / or cafeteria servery,
• Modifies any food to meet various diets as required,
• Sets up food for cafeteria server,
• Sets up food for patient tray line,
• Serves on patient tray line and / or cafeteria servery as directed,
• Assists in the ordering of food stock as appropriate,

Qualifications

What You Will Need :

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Previous cook / baker experience preferred

Job Summary :

This is an entry level cook / baker position. Individual maintains the responsibility for the cooking and / or baking of all hot foods including entrees, vegetables, starches, etc.

for the department. This task should be done in such a manner to ensure the highest quality of product, efficient utilization of time and cost containment.
