Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Mon - Fri 8am, 5pm

The role you’ll contribute:

The Clinical Triage Nurse Manager, under limited supervision, leads the day-to-day clinical call center operational strategy and success of a clinical contact center team supporting AHMG practices and teams with world-class consumer care, and first-class clinical phone care through the execution of AdventHealth’s mission, vision, values, and service standards. The Clinical Triage Nurse Manager works directly with operations leadership, building relationships to develop and enhance the training tools and processes used for centralized clinical contact center teams, practice operations, physicians, and all managers and team members involved in a centralized clinical phone triage process.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Serves as the manager of the clinical triage team and other staff as assigned
  • Provides a safe and complete environment for the delivery of patient care through operational processes and protocols, inventory control, and equipment checks. Corrects any known deficiencies.
  • Works with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources in recruitment & selection, orientation, evaluation of staff, and performance management.
  • Supports offices in a cost-effective, efficient manner assuring that clinical phone staff meets the expectation of delivering high-quality services in a safe, courteous, and friendly atmosphere.
  • Oversees clinical triage team, including orientation of new hires and ongoing team education and training.
  • Coordinates with the assigned Practice Manager/Director to monitor and improve the operations of each practice(s) as it relates to clinical care; this includes flow management, documentation, training, staffing, and provider training and support.
  • Coordinates and participates in clinical telephony new hire training for designated service line(s). Provides feedback to the appropriate Practice Manager/Director as it relates to performance post-training on the access processes.

Qualifications - External

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License.
  • CPR Certified
  • Must be willing to travel from time to time, to various AHMG practices within the service line when necessary.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred qualifications:

  • Call Center Certification (CCCM or RCCSP)
