Schedule: Per Diem PRN

Shift: Monday through Friday Day Shift

Location: 1812 N Mills Ave, Orlando, FL 32803

The role you’ll contribute:

A Medical Scribe is there to accompany the physician into the patient examination room to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present. Scribes will not perform any hands-on tasks with a patient.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Accompany physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present.
  • List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions.
  • Document any procedures performed by the physician.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management.
Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Terminology

Preferred experience:

  • 6 months or more of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
