The role you’ll contribute:

The Inventory Control Specialist Intermediate maintains inventory in warehouse and at campus locations as required. Implements and follows safe practices to ensure security measures are in effect at all times. Performs scheduled campus deliveries and works with field technician to arrange additional deliveries or pick-up of equipment. Enters information into electronic database and updates records as required. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Leads out warehouse and campus inventories. Advances equipment in approved situations and updates tickets in ticketing system accordingly. Maintains accurate filing of records of all inventory transactions.

• Provides high-level customer service to customers as well as AIT partners.
• Receive and maintain inventory of all items in warehouse.
• Enter data into and maintain asset management system.
• Update electronic call tickets with appropriate information in a timely manner.
• Interacts with purchasing team, vendors, installation team, project team, and warehouse as required.
• Maintains records of inventory transactions.
• Operate lift equipment.
• Runs consumable report from inventory system and pull equipment for delivery.
• Prepares equipment, palletizing if necessary, for campus deliveries.
• Performs deliveries of equipment to various campuses utilizing delivery vehicle.
• Leads warehouse and campus inventories.
• Run IDT report from inventory system and pull equipment for delivery
• Maintains warehouse and ensures equipment is stocked appropriately for safety and cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the AIT department and in order to comply with Adventist Health System policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Expert ability to comprehend and write technical documentation.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong customer service and support skills.
• Ability to work well with people of varying levels of technical abilities.
• Ability to gather, analyze, report, and present information.
• Advanced understanding of:
  • Identity Management, Identity Governance, Directories and Databases, Microsoft Active Directory, Privileged Account Management, large and complex systems having multi-layered architectures.
  • Communications protocols such as HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP, and Firewall.
  • Standard network security protocol. (eg. OAuth, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-on (SSO) solutions using multi-layered Adaptive Authentication for identity authentication.
  • Core security concerns within a typical application. (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
• Advanced proficiency in:
  • PowerShell, C#, .NET, web application development, or other scripting/coding languages
  • SQL

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

• Advanced Privileged Access Management.
• Ability to train and educate others.
• Expert knowledge of system management and monitoring tools/utilities.
• Proficient knowledge of Identity Management Directories and Databases, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server Operating systems, Linux
• Solid understanding of ITIL principles.
• Detailed understanding of Information Security frameworks, especially HITRUST.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning concepts with the ability to write efficient, highly performant code/scripts.
• Systematic and disciplined with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of Agile concepts and project management tools (JIRA, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to report potential problems to management in timely manner.
• Ability to exercise discretion as access to confidential patient and company information. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and with other team members with little direct supervision.
• Data entry skills at a minimum of 30 wpm.
• Ability to operate a pallet lift.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive delivery vehicle.
