Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT/Xray PRN to join our team on an as-needed basis. As a CT/Xray PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities such as CT, X-Ray, mammography, sonography, and PET scans. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic evaluations using CT, X-Ray, mammography, sonography, and PET scan equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results
- Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy to properly position patients for imaging procedures
- Provide imaging services in emergency room settings as needed
Requirements:
- Valid certification in CT and X-Ray imaging
- Proficient in medical terminology related to diagnostic imaging
- Experience in performing mammography, sonography, and PET scans is preferred
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Excellent understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Availability to work on an as-needed basis (PRN)
- Flexibility to work in different shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
