You will Create and maintain overall optimal data pipeline architecture. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. Manage data migrations/conversions and troubleshooting data processing issues. Create the pipeline for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a wide variety of data sources. Build machine learning functions to help with data automation, data preparation. Work closely with our analytics engineer and data warehouse engineers to build analytics tools and dashboards that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. We need this from you Passionate about big data platform. Solid knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, or Cloudera. Skills of transforming data, developing data structures, building a metadata store, setting up data pipeline or data workflows. Experience with getting data through API calls or scripting languages, for example, python, Node.js, Java, C#, Scala, etc Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude. Great software engineering best practices with git and version control systems. Solid communication skills to explain complex data pipelines to both technical and non-technical people. Excellent writing and documenting skills. Self-starter and self-motivated. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other STEM field 1 years of experience in data engineering or a related field required Bonus if you have Experience with one of the cloud ETL tools, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Data bricks, or others. Knowledge about one of the major business intelligence vendors like Tableau, Power BI, Quick Sight, Qlik, Sisense, Domo, or Looker. Why SS&C?
