ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Management System Specialist (LMS) to join our team for a crucial Proof of Concept (PoC) project. The primary focus will be on migrating our existing SABA Learning Management System from OnPrem to its Cloud version. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in SABA customizations, particularly in SBX customization using micro-apps, micro-sites, web hooks, custom integration, and a solid understanding of SEC and SBX APIs.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
The role involves collaborating closely with the internal team to assess the feasibility of migrating the SABA Learning Management System from OnPrem to the Cloud version. This includes conducting detailed technical analyses to determine SABA's compatibility and functionality in the Cloud environment. Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing SBX customizations using micro-apps, micro-sites, web hooks, and custom integrations tailored to project requirements. Leveraging a deep understanding of SEC and SBX APIs, they will facilitate seamless integration and enhance system capabilities, building custom screens, assessment players, and utilizing appropriate APIs to meet project objectives. Furthermore, they will conduct evaluations and create PoCs (Proof of Concepts) to test various functionalities for migration suitability. Providing ongoing technical guidance and expertise, the specialist will ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to operations, collaborating with the lead architect in SABA to validate technical decisions and ensure alignment with project goals. Documenting processes, configurations, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge transfer is also a key aspect of the role.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning Management Systems, with a focus on SABA, including 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SABA customization.
  • Understanding of Java programming language is essential for setting up customizations.
• Extensive experience in SBX customization using micro-apps, micro-sites, web hooks, and custom integration.
• Strong understanding of SEC and SBX APIs and their application in system customization.
