We are currently in search of a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our Hospice Team in the Ebensburg, PA and Surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a deep commitment to providing exceptional end-of-life care. Our team focuses on delivering personalized support and comfort within the familiar surroundings of patients' homes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to hospice patients either at their homes or in hospice facilities.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage symptoms to ensure patients' comfort and well-being.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding end-of-life care and symptom management.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed.
• Offer emotional support, counseling, and education tailored to address the unique needs and concerns of patients and their families.

About You:

• Possess an active RN license in the state where you are practicing or be a new graduate eligible to take NCLEX.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related field, though not mandatory.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Approach patient care with compassion, empathy, and respect.
• Knowledge of hospice regulations and practices is advantageous.
