Summary

National Field Sales Supervisor

The National Field Sales Supervisor maintains overall responsibility for leading a team of BDRs (Business Development Representatives). This includes ensuring clear delivery of client sales, merchandising and training goals working with Anheuser-Busch stakeholders to provide clear, consistent communication to the field reps. This role also owns strategic channel communication and makes recommendations to client based on field findings. The National Field Supervisor provides regularly feedback to key stakeholders and monitors/communicates sales results at regular client meetings. As a member of the management team, the NFS participates in strategic planning of team incentives, tracking team and specific account/route performance, and fielding operational questions from the field. Focus is on driving measurable sales results to the client through outstanding program execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly travels to markets for purpose of, but not limited to; Team development, Training, Wholesaler and AB Captain meetings/trainings
  • Strategic oversight of BDR team providing direction, guidance and support where necessary
  • Develops and executes formal processes and strategies to meet and exceed client retail sales & merchandising objectives
  • Works collaboratively with client to ensure successful communication and execution of client mandated initiatives, incentives, KPI qualifiers, and KPI results
  • Regularly reports/presents to client on areas of program execution – performance vs. core KPI’s
  • Stays on top of our internal systems including VIP (Karma, iDig) to set up, monitor, and report on sales surveys, KPI surveys, incentives, and program results at the BDR, Route, and Account Level
  • Evaluates field sales results assembling corrective plans to drive sustainable sales growth
  • Develops employees for career advancement
  • Conducts National Sales and Training Calls
  • Works collaboratively with operations team in areas including, but not limited to, report development, event execution, financial control and coverage model execution/revisions

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

- Travel is an essential duty and function of this job, including driving a personal and rental vehicle

- Travel up to 50% including air travel on a regular basis

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration or Operations Management

  • 3-5 years of experience of Field Sales/Field Operations experience, directly managing a field sales team
  • Experience working in an agency, retail, CPG or CE environment

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact at varying management levels/client interface
  • Strong organization, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to present effectively to large groups
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Field Operations maintains overall responsibility for leading the field sales organization – Regional Managers, District Managers, and part-time Field Reps. Ensures clear delivery of client sales, merchandising and training goals working with Regional Managers to provide clear, consistent communication to District Sales Managers and field reps. Owns strategic channel focus and makes recommendations to client based on field findings. Provides regularly monthly competitive intelligence and field sales updates at regular client meetings. As a member of the management team, participates in strategic planning, budgeting and problem solving initiatives. Focus is on driving measurable sales results to the client through outstanding program execution.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Regularly travels to markets for purpose of, but not limited to; Regional Manager development, retailer meetings/trainings
  • Strategic oversight of field sales team providing direction, guidance and support where necessary

  • Evaluates field sales results assembling corrective plans to drive sustainable sales growth
  • Develops employees for career advancement
  • Conducts National Sales and Training Calls
  • Works collaboratively with operations team in areas including, but not limited to, report development, event execution, financial control and coverage model execution/revisions
