Location: Alexandria, VA - May occasionally be required to work at an Arlington Office

• Provide the initial review of final background investigations and identify security, suitability, and integrity and fitness issues.
• Communicate with subjects regarding any unresolved issues before forwarding the background investigation to Federal staff for analysis and final adjudication.
• Prepare an adjudicative worksheet for identified issues and any mitigating information or circumstances derived from the analytical review and LOI follow up response.
• Prepare Letters of Interrogatory, Letters of Advisement or Conditional Approval Letters that communicate clear, logical thoughts that are free of grammatical errors for Federal staff review, approval and signature.
• Manage caseload of background investigations to ensure that Tier 5 background investigations and the oldest closed complete background investigations are worked first in accordance with the guidelines of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act (IRTPA).
• Process requests for Reciprocity in accordance with SEAD 7.
• Update the personnel security database known as eWORKS, enter correct data into eWORKS and create the appropriate processing activity to ensure proper routing of all cases. Upload all relevant supporting documents to correct eWORKS case document tab.
• Assist the Federal staff in updating personnel security procedures and processes as needed.
• Properly safeguard Privacy Act Protected Information and Personal Identifiable Information.
• Assist the Personnel Security Unit with any personnel security & suitability tasks identified in this Statement of Work as needed.

? Minimum of nine (9) years’ experience in a security administration work environment to include personnel security, background investigation industry, physical security or private sector security experience associated with Federal Government contracting.

? Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in working final background investigations, including identifying and analyzing security, suitability, or integrity and fitness issues within the appropriate guidelines of 5 C.F.R. parts 731, 1400, 736 and executive orders 10450, 12968, 13764, 13467, 13488 and ODNI SEADs 3, 4, 6 and 7.

? Must be US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

? Experience working within business processing systems to include a personnel security case management system. eWorks knowledge and experience preferred.

? Experience in communicating with customers, writing Letters of Interrogatory, Letters of Advisement, and Conditional Approval Letters.

? FDIC support experience is highly desired
