The Monomer Production Engineer is responsible for providing in-depth engineering, analytical, tactical, and strategic expertise in a manufacturing environment. This position requires extensive use and application of engineering and plant operating principles and concepts. As a Production Engineer, you will support the Monomer Area.
You must have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program to be considered for this role. Preferably, there would be at least one year of experience in a Chemical Plant environment and three years of overall experience as an engineer. You must be proactive and able to work independently and collaborate with others in decision-making. Proven success in leading projects and teams is a must, and you must have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required. Experience working in a multinational environment is desirable, and SAP experience is preferable but not required.
