AdvantaClean of Spring is Hiring a Lead Technician Near North Houston, TX

Position Summary/Purpose

As a Restoration Lead Technician, your role involves organizing, overseeing, and executing restoration tasks to meet service requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. Serving as the primary face of the AdvantaClean brand, you embody the company's dedication to guiding each customer toward optimal results. Through mentoring and supervising assignments, you'll develop essential leadership abilities. Progressing upward entails accumulating expertise in management, sales, and customer service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Initial assessment of water and mold damage in buildings and completion of any mitigation-related tasks, such as securing the job site, overseeing necessary demo/cleaning, and ensuring proper equipment setup.
  • Participation in the emergency after-hours response team.
  • Training and mentoring of new technicians.
  • Operation of industrial restoration equipment.
  • Loading/unloading of work trucks at headquarters with equipment and transportation to/from job sites.
  • Supervision of production processes according to schedule and communication.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment focused on thorough yet efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Utilization of commercial equipment to extract water and moisture from buildings.
  • Performing demolition, cleaning and repair work when needed.
  • Setting up containments following industry standards.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
  • Managing customer and client interactions.
  • Documenting drying activity.
  • Ensuring the company consistently passes environmental clearance tests.
  • Ensuring proper tracking is completed on every job.
  • Identification of safety hazards, communication of hazards, and establishment of control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and coworkers.
  • Adherence to safe work practices and oversight of safety and risk management guidelines at all times.

  • Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company’s services at the customer’s property.
  • Assign specific tasks to technicians within a work crew.

  • Oral Communication

Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Able to effectively calm excited customers, uses questioning to accurately identify the type and extent of issue, and describes the steps that will be taken. Adaptable and able to think on his/her feet.

Writes clear and accurate job notes and emails. The individual is able to read and interpret written information. Uses appropriate vocabulary and grammar.

  • Planning and Organizing

Plans and organizes work activities considering the capabilities and strengths of technicians and laborers. Focuses on key priorities. Effectively manages multiple tasks simultaneously. Pays attention to details.

  • Technical

Is appropriately trained and/or certified and effectively performs all production work within the company or assigned division.

  • Quality

The individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work, as well as that of the other crew members, to ensure quality.

  • Technology

Regularly uses standard word processing, spreadsheets, job management software tools, and available hardware to report job activities and create required documentation, including photos of job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
