Purpose

As a Construction Safety Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedure at construction sites to ensure compliance with regulations, prevent accidents, and promote a culture of safety among all personnel.

What you will be doing

• Develop and Implement Safety Policies
• Conduct Safety Inspections
• Coordinate and conduct safety training sessions for construction personnel, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
• Accident Investigation
• Identify potential safety risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for sites, including procedures for medical emergencies, fires, and natural disasters.
• Safety Culture Promotion
• Maintain accurate records of safety activities

What you will bring along

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Professional certification in construction safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in construction safety management or related role.
• Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to navigate construction sites, including climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding, and perform safety inspections in various weather conditions and environments.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
