MISSION

The Sonographer is responsible for delivering quality patient care by performing optimal renal, scrotal, penile, and female pelvic ultrasound studies in a fast-paced specialty environment.

OUTCOMES

* Produce optimal image resolution and accurately complete diagnostic assessment for each ultrasound study in a high patient volume setting.

* Consistently manages work load efficiently with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

* Certificate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:

* Two years of sonographer experience

* Strong working knowledge of abdominal and pelvic anatomy and pathology

Credentials/Licensures:

* Active license in American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), with specialty physics and abdomen/small parts

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

* Associates/Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:

* 3 years of sonographer experience

* Previous experience in a Urology/Gynecology outpatient and/or hospital setting

* Working knowledge of Konica Minolta Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) The Exa

* Working knowledge of eClinical Works or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

Credentials/Licensures

* Gynecology: ARDMS specialties in OB/GYN

* Urology: ARDMS specialties in Abdomen/Small Parts
