Advanced Urology Institute is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Pleasant, SC

Description

Maintain a clinical environment that is clean, efficient, and compliant with all standards of care, assisting physicians in the delivery of quality care in a professional and courteous manner.

Duties:

· Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments

· Prepares patients for exam and assists during examination and treatment

· Interviews patients, documents medical history and takes patient vitals

· Phlebotomy and Injections

· Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization

· Appointment scheduling, arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services

· Updates and files patient chart, medical records and insurance reports

· Always maintains patient safety and confidentiality

· Maintains communication with front desk regarding physician schedule

· Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· High School Graduate/GED

· Medical Assistant Certification required or Certification eligible.) (certification training, testing and testing reimbursement provided by Lowcountry).

· Minimum of 6 months previous clinical experience; Urology preferred

· Excellent customer service, time management, multi-tasking, written and verbal communication skills

Schedule: 8-hour Day shift; Monday-Friday (No Weekends!)
