Summary

Advanced Technology Systems Company in Gilbert, AZ has an opportunity for an experienced, senior level Lead Systems Engineer to join our team supporting C4ISR systems. ATSC’s primary product lines include C5ISR systems, C-UAS and Air Delivery Systems.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will leverage your critical thinking skills, engineering team leadership, technical writing, and communication skills in support of an array of existing and future work for US Military and foreign (FMS) defense customers. You will bring experience leading teams in the development of C5ISR system requirements, integrating sensors (EO/IR, Radar, BMS, Video Management systems, and Security Networks), integrating Command and Control C2 software and deployment of same.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of Systems Engineering experience, engineering degree required
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a government security clearance
• Previous customer interface with Government Engineering and SETA or advisory contractors
• Five (5) years of leading projects through Systems Requirements Review, Design, Test and Training, Implementation
• Experience with integration of radar, electro optical/infrared, AIS, Command and Control and related systems and subsystems 

Desired Qualifications

• Experience managing project execution as related to Engineering function to include but not limited to tracking schedule, cost, resources and meeting Key performance parameters
• Experience with manpower forecasting, briefings, presentations, and agendas for the engineering program life cycle of security programs and system deployment
• Experience in leading integrated product teams for analysis of alternatives, system and subsystem designs, verification, and test
• Ability to manage multiple programs with matrix personnel and/or geographically dispersed teams
• Competent with large-scale and distributed system architectures, database technologies, virtualization methodologies, wired/wireless data communications, fiber optics, network, and cyber security
• Provide Integrated Ground Security Surveillance Response Capability (IGSSR-C) Command and Control (C2) software and hardware for its Operator Station
• Experience with design, procurement, and installation of security systems for DOD facilities that include surveillance, perimeter security, communications, and remote monitoring
• Writing systems level requirements, systems level plans, and analysis (System Plans, System Modeling, FMEA, Systems Safety, Requirements Traceability, etc.)
• Liaison with partners and subcontractors to verify specifications and interface requirements and to produce ICDs between multiple sub-systems.
• Understanding of requirements tracking and Val/Ver
• Proficient with Microsoft Office based tools
• Experience with Pursuits, Bids, Proposals, etc.
• Shown experience leading a multi-discipline team throughout the development life cycle
• Must be a U.S. citizen with or with the ability to obtain a government security clearance
