Advanced Technology Research is Hiring a Contracts Administrator (DOD) Near Beltsville, MD

Description: 

Provide Contract and Program Management supporting project. including tracking of contract funds, expenses, and billings and analyzing data for projections. Monitor contract performance and ensure all government regulatory requirements are met (i.e., FAR, DFAR, limitation of funds, Level of Effort reporting, etc.)

Responsibilities: 

  • Review contract award documents to ensure information matches latest proposal and coordinate with program teams to initiate kick-off meetings, and communicate the contract requirements to all departments
  • Prepare monthly contract/financial reports
  • When necessary, request modification to the contract and upon issuance, review for accuracy and coordinate approval
  • Coordinate approval of new personnel to be added to contracts as well as any other contract administration actions that may be required
  • Serve as a business advisor to the program team
  • Support the entire life cycle of the contracts process from winning new business to contract close-out
  • Administer existing agreements through close-out, including entry of contract and modification data into Deltek CostPoint 
  • Research and analyze historical data for reporting and audit purposes
  • Collaborate with Program and Customer teams as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work with other teams that include, finance, billing, accounting and program management.

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of experience working in Federal Government contracting
  • Knowledge of Federal contractual instruments and requirements
  • Strong accounting and Excel skills
  • Strong Analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to solve problems and implement actions to eliminate problems
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field, additional Certs a plus

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) in using and developing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations are required.
  • Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Regular, reliable attendance is required.

Clearance: The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
