Job Title: Facilities Manager

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory complete Facility Manager training from host base.
  • Utilize the Facility Mangers Handbook supplied by host base.
  • Possess 3 year’s facility maintenance experience.
  • 1 year of experience using computer systems and operating systems including all MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Primary Facility Manager for all 801 RHTS facilities on a daily basis. Facilities include buildings, areas, and infrastructure. Facilities also include non-Real Property tents that are erected for long-term use. Reference Appendix F for current facilities.
  • Coordinate the repair, renovation, alteration, and maintenance of assigned facilities with the 325th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES).
  • Inspect all facilities identified in Appendix F, to include mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety upon completion of each class or every 2 weeks, whichever occurs first.
  • Create and submit monthly Facility Inspection Checklist that documents all repair or maintenance requirements identified during the inspections each facility
  • Collects, coordinates, and presents new facility requirements for 801 RHTS prioritization and advocacy once a month at the facilities and infrastructure meeting.
  • Use AF Form 332, Base Civil Engineer Work Request, Microsoft (MS) Office, and automated systems (NexGen) to initiate and document repairs, deficiencies, alterations, and new construction.
  • Coordinate facility support functions (such as vendors, custodial, security, fire, safety, health, and environmental, grounds maintenance, and network infrastructure).
  • Develop and deliver a monthly update on all completed, ongoing, planned, and required work to 801 RHTS facilities and infrastructure.
  • Serve as the utility conservation monitor to ensure optimal efficiency for all utilities.
  • Issue/repossess facility keys for inbound/outbound personnel. Maintain accountability and secure unused keys in government issued lockbox.
  • Follow up with Fire Department or Security Forces for all call outs, in regard to facility and infrastructure concerns.
  • Coordinate all site signage requirements with the 325th CES and maintain all bulletin boards to ensure all contents are up to date.
  • Report any customer complaints to the 325th designated CES COR for custodial services provided by 325 CES and contractors.
  • Report any customer complaints to the 325th designated CES COR for grounds maintenance provided by 325 CES and contractors.
  • Report any customer complaints to the 325th designated CES COR for portable latrine support and servicing.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repair actions that due not require 325 CES support via work order (e.g. basic household repairs/maintenance, changing filters, lightbulbs, unclogging toilets). Any materials/tools required for these efforts will be furnished by the government.
  • These duties are mission essential.
  • When applicable, represent 801 RHTS at the Work Request Review Board (WRRB) or other infrastructure planning and coordination meetings held by 325 CES or 325 FW.
  • Create status reports for all active facility and infrastructure work orders and provide updates to Squadron Leadership during biweekly Staff Meetings.

Work Environment: This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
  • Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment more than 40lbs.
