We are looking for:
Currently we are looking for experienced Graphics Operators to work on live corporate events, onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, WA, and Austin, TX.This role works on a per-project basis. Sometimes projects are one day, sometimes longer.
Job Responsibilities:
Operation of slide decks, presentations, video files, or other material during live events and broadcasts.
Receiving cues from presenters verbally, via a cueing system, or directly from Show Caller
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for any needs relating to Graphics look, color, formatting, or other related issues
Expert-level proficiency with configuration and programming of Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote, and other related software platforms.
Ensuring graphics are played out properly for streaming and event space experience.
Able to utilize Qlab, OTA Express, and other systems for video playback.
Work directly with clients, talent, and Producers to ensure presentations are appearing as they were designed and intended.
Conduct rehearsals with the production team, making necessary adjustments to materials and cue sheets, as required.
Take direction from the stage manager or show caller to ensure all cues are executed as intended.
Perform thorough checks before every event to guarantee all equipment is functioning and configured properly.
Test all show playback elements for proper play out.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience as a Graphics Operator, preferably for large or high profile events, working in high pressure environments.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
Professionalism and ability to be helpful and maintain composure under pressure.
Ability to work well in a broadcast team environment, including talent, producers and directors, under strict time deadlines.
Strong knowledge and understanding of broadcast and production technology, including but not limited to Keynote, Google Slides, DSAN Perfect Cue, and Qlab.
Thorough understanding of video transport standards.
Ability to multitask and adapt to rapid show-flow changes in a live and fluid environment.
Excellent control room demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude and the ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment.
Ability to interface with both technical and creative members of the event production ecosystem.
Excellent communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
This part-time position offers a range between $55-85/hr, depending on experience.
