Paraprofessional - SCHOOL/YEAR ROUND, Wallingford, CT - $21/hr

Join our team as a School Paraprofessional, offering a competitive pay rate of $21/hr. This is a long-term contract position with potential for Temp to Perm conversion.

Responsibilities:

Work in a classroom setting, assisting students with autism spectrum disorder and other intellectual disorders.

Encourage building skills for independence and increasing socialization.

Assist in providing opportunities for individuals to participate in recreational activities.

Requirements:

2 years of experience as a Paraprofessional or a CNA.

Background working with children who have intellectual disorders is a plus.

Must consent to a federal and state criminal background check.

Education and Experience:

2 plus years of Paraprofessional or CNA experience is required.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, 9:20 AM – 4:20 PM.

Long-term contract with potential Temp to Perm conversion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
