Nurse Practitioner Outpatient - Chinle, AZ

Pay: $65-73/hour Stipends for travelers

Shifts: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Contract Length: 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to patients, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and managing overall patient health.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, diagnostic results, and evidence-based practices.
• Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate, ensuring proper patient education and monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, preventive care, and treatment plans, promoting health and wellness.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements:

• Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure
• Experience providing primary care as a family nurse practitioner.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)
• BLS/ACLS
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License.
