Draftsman/Designer/Project Manager - Mason, MI.

Pay rate: $16.00 -$ 25.00

Temp to full-time position

Shifts: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 5:00pm

Job Description

We are looking for employees interested in achieving the company’s quality, safety, and product standards. We do new custom builds, repair existing, and tear-outs. Applicants must be reliable, detail-oriented, hard workers, able to work on their own and with others. Applicants also must be able to work within a schedule. Employees will be working on a variety of projects each week.

Equipment needed: Steel toe boots, long jeans, basic hand tools (tape measure, etc)

Skills

• Good Computer Skills a PLUS
• Use of CAD software needed(Solidworks*, AutoCad or other computer programs)
• No degree needed but would be a PLUS
• Prior experience in manufacturing, trailer, farm equipment, construction, handrail and mezzanine construction or press/stamping is a PLUS
• Must have reliable transportation and license (Chauffeur license is a plus)
• Must know how to read a tape measure (down to 16ths)
• Great Math skills(Geometry)
• Have attention to detail
• Read and understand instructions, prints, or diagrams
• Assemble prints, sketches and photos with needed measurements
• Build a material and supply list, and needed steps to complete(labor)
• Draw a sketch or prints as needed
• Generate job paperwork, make sure materials are ordered
• Follow the process thru the shop until completed, keep on schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
