QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of third-party payors, deductible, and copay benefits
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify/resolve problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Be organized and detailed in work performance
- Computer Savvy
- Post insurance payments and Identify any payments not being paid at the allowed/contracted rate.
- Post patient payments to patient accounts.
- Ensure payment batches are reconciled and posted in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer incoming patient calls and assist patients with account inquiries.
- Other miscellaneous tasks delegated by the Billing Supervisor
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Requirements
- Proficiency in the use of Electronic Health Records and Practice Management Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
