Systems Engineering – Requirements ManagementDescription:AS&T has an opportunity in Moorestown NJ for a Systems Engineer, supporting the Integrated Combat System. In this important role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals, interact with internal stakeholders, and interface with external customers. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.Position Responsibilities performed to complete milestones associated with specific projects:
- Working with domain experts and military documentation to interpret and create requirements, use cases, and sequence diagrams of complex systems
- Develop system requirements and architectures to ensure customer needs and contracts are appropriately translated into the products development cycle- Develop and flow requirements from various Combat System requirements documents to solutions, products and services to support software development- Develop system and software system specification requirements- Lead System Engineering Interchange Meeting (SEIM) and process definition and support development of all other products to include: System Engineering Plan
(SEP) updates, Software Development Plan (SDP), Configuration Management Plan & Implementation, System Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Security Classification Guide,
Software Development Plan, Requirements Engineering & Management Strategy, Data Strategy, System Safety Plan/ Programs, Program Protection Plan, and Modeling & Simulation Strategy- Perform analysis and coordination to develop Requirements Definition Packages for future combat system work
- Analysis, design and generation of computer program requirements along with development of test plans and procedures
- Develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs. Incrementally develop design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.- Support key aspects of the technical implementation of the program, by collaborating across a number of disciplines to ensure that technical parameters, interfaces, and assumptions are consistent across disciplines, and interfacing with stakeholders (e.g., engineering, technical staff, client) to ensure program goals are met.- Work cross-functionally to analyze, test and iterate technical requirements, user stories and operations concepts.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 1 years of professional experience,, or equivalent experience/combined education. • Experience developing system, software, hardware, and performance requirements• Experience performing software and/or systems integration and testing • Experience using engineering toolsets such as DOORs or Cameo• Ability to work in a rapid paced, Agile development environment• Ability to travel as it may be required to vendors or test eventsDesired Skills:• Experience working within a System Development Life Cycle• Experience utilizing Operating Systems & Environments• Familiarity with Agile systems development and/or DevOps• Working knowledge in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution• Experience working with vendors• Methodical approach to problem solving• Effective oral and written communication skillsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, or the ability to obtain oneClearance Level: Secret Other Important Information You Should Know:Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite Work Schedules: AS&T supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
