Systems Engineering – Combat System ArchitectureDescription: AS&T has an opportunity in Moorestown NJ for a Systems Engineer, supporting the Integrated Combat System. In this important role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals, interact with internal stakeholders, and interface with external customers. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.Position Responsibilities performed to complete milestones associated with specific projects:

• Develop system and software architectures in support of the common source library and single source library modernization.
• Participate as key technical members in Combat Systems Architecture Working Groups.
• Participate as a key technical member in System and Software Architecture Governance Groups.
• Embedded Training. Provide engineering support and technical recommendations for the Advanced Training Domain (ATD) 2.0 transition into ICS infrastructure.
• Work with IWS1IT to plan the transition and fielding of ATD 2.0 SCSTE efforts to help engineer a shipboard training solution.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 1 years of professional experience,, or equivalent experience/combined education. • Experience developing system, software, hardware, and performance requirements• Experience performing software and/or systems integration and testing • Experience using engineering toolsets such as DOORs or Cameo• Ability to work in a rapid paced, Agile development environment• Ability to travel as it may be required to vendors or test eventsDesired Skills:• Experience working within a System Development Life Cycle• Experience utilizing Operating Systems & Environments• Familiarity with Agile systems development and/or DevOps• Working knowledge in test plan/procedure preparation and test execution• Experience working with vendors• Methodical approach to problem solving• Effective oral and written communication skillsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, or the ability to obtain oneClearance Level: Secret Other Important Information You Should Know:Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite Work Schedules: AS&T supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
