Job Description:

We are seeking an Automation Technician to join our team who would be responsible for wiring and assembling our automation projects. The successful candidate will be part of a team that will ensure customer and internal requirements are met for each project.

Responsibilities:

• Build and wire control panels from electrical drawings.
• Machine electrical enclosures to install buttons, instruments, and HMI screens using hand tools.
• Assemble mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components from assembly drawings. Including drilling, tapping, grinding as needed.
• Run cables and airlines to electrical and pneumatic components in automation equipment.
• Adjust and align components in automation for proper operation.
• Troubleshoot and assist in starting up automation projects.
• Assist controls engineers with some basic programming including setting IP addresses and downloading programs.
• Assist with machine shop operations, cut material blanks, load tools, and run CNC programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop space.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
