Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our growing practice includes 214 radiologists, 38 advanced practice providers, and 180 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we do: ARS provides radiology services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. We are the exclusive provider to Covenant Healthcare which is the largest, most comprehensive health care provider in the region with 643 beds. Covenant offers a broad spectrum of programs and services ranging from high-risk obstetrics, neonatal and pediatric intensive care, to acute care including a Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. The Covenant Breast Health Center offers state-of-the-art imaging technology and has been ranked in the top 3% in the country for patient experience.

What we are looking for: We are currently accepting applicants for two alternate track (travel) breast imaging radiologists. Maximize your time off with a schedule of 5 days providing on site daytime coverage followed by 9 days off. The total number of required work days per year would be 130 (26 weeks) and days off would be 234. This is a partnership track position with no evening or weekend responsibilities, full compensation and benefits and travel expenses included. You may live where you desire but will need to travel to various locations as needed. Sites could include Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, Alpena or Kalamazoo. The team in Saginaw includes 5 breast imagers and 2 breast surgeons. 

Responsibilities:

• Digital mammography, breast MRI, tomosynthesis, and breast ultrasound 
• Stereotactic, ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided biopsies
• Image guided preoperative localizations- needle/wire and RFID tag
• Participate in a weekly multi-disciplinary breast cancer conference
• Opportunity to teach surgical residents and medical students

Participation in section, committee and board meetings is not required but welcomed from day one. While we are an independent private practice, some of our physicians practice with an academic focus. In affiliation with Michigan State University College of Medicine, our radiologists have opportunities to teach and mentor residents and pursue research if desired. Due to the size and breadth of the healthcare systems we support, diagnostic volume and variety of clinical exposure is unrivaled.

Compensation/Benefits: Our physicians pay nothing for medical/dental/vision coverage. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan. We offer a two year partner track, individual and group incentives as well as abundant opportunities to pick up additional shifts and increase compensation. Requirements

• Proficient in all aspects of breast imaging including breast procedures 
• American Board of Radiology certified or Board-Eligible 
• Breast imaging fellowship preferred
