Advanced Pet Care of Parker is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. Located in Parker, CO, we are dedicated to providing exceptional pet care with exceptional client experiences. Certified Veterinary Technician Role Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology
• No weekends!

Certified Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals.
• Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members.
• Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Competently perform dental prophylaxis
