THE ROLE:

The Sr. Analyst, Strategy and Corporate Business Development is an integral part of a high visibility team that is a key trusted advisor to senior management of AMD. This individual would have an interest in developing a deep experience in business strategy and pipeline development to drive inorganic and business growth objectives of AMD. The individual will support the AMD management in shaping up key decisions that influences AMD future in the semiconductor industry.

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate for this role should be a self-motivated individual capable of independently prioritizing tasks and executing them with minimal supervision. They should possess a strong management and executive-level presence, while also being a hands-on team player experienced in lean work environments. Furthermore, they should excel at summarizing complex problems and driving toward effective solutions, demonstrating the ability to delve into details while keeping sight of the bigger picture. The right candidate should strike a balance between collaboration and assertiveness, communicating complicated subjects clearly and concisely. They should have a keen interest in technology, particularly semiconductor technologies, and exhibit a passion for innovation. Finally, this candidate should feel comfortable charting a path forward in uncertain situations and possess the skills to influence and scale their ideas effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technology inclined with strong desire to learn semiconductor technologies.
• Have a passion for innovation, be comfortable defining a way forward in the face of ambiguity and have the ability to scale and influence broadly.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Direct experience in corporate strategy at a technology firm and/or experience in top tier management consulting or investment banking
• Work experience in an engineering or technology organization
• Strong expertise with communication and modeling tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Undergraduate - Engineering or CS

Graduate degree in business or engineering (preferred)

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
