THE ROLE:

AMD is looking for a specialized software engineer who is passionate about decoding the usage of ROCm Software Development Kit (SDK) and improve on the usage of document.  You will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and will work with the very latest hardware and software technology.

THE PERSON:

Ideal candidate will bring in broad experience on dealing with Software Development Kit Documentation. Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Decode Technical documentation and deploy Software Development Kit using the documentation.
• Work closely with various stakeholders to take feedback on the documentation.
• Port High Performance computing application on ROCm using the documentation.
• Design, develop and deploy testing tools and automation libraries necessary to perform testing of SDK documents.
• Lead the adoption of tooling and industry best practices by means of advocacy and outreach to help our development communities level up.
• Develop technical relationships with peers and partners
• Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Programing Languages: Python, C, C , Linux Shell scripting.
• Using Frameworks/Libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNXRT
• Tools: Prior experience using Linux, Docker, LLVM compilers
• Prior experience with Technical Documentation on SDKs
• Prior experience working as Field Application Engineer on HPC/ML domain

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
