PROGRAM MANAGER 2

THE ROLE:

We are in search of an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic ecosystems.

THE PERSON:

In this role, as part of AMD's Data Center GPU PMO, you must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong understanding of the ASIC development process, a solid background working with project management techniques, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with cross-functional teams to develop ground-breaking products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Building and tracking detailed hardware plans
• Coordinate requirements across a broad set of engineering teams to enable users with hardware
• Oversee the physical movement of material between multiple AMD labs
• Oversee the physical movement of material between AMD labs and customer locations
• Provide clear and timely communications to multiple stakeholders
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of the principles ofproject management and apply them effectively on small to large size projects
• Initiate changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiency

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years Project Management experience in ASIC development or related field
• Knowledge of a wide variety of systems and processes (SAP, SMR, RMA, etc)
• Experience working with teams across multiple locations
• Proficiency with productivity tools including Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel
• Comfortable with ambiguity and with the ability to adapt and be creative.
• Detailed oriented, self-driven with a strong sense of pride and ownership.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively as a self-starter and as part of a team
• Proactively involve team members in planning, decision-making and execution efforts

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering
• Formal project management education,PMP / Scrum Master
