The Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School is currently accepting applications for a full-time ELL Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.Job Responsibilities:Main Teaching Responsibilities:• Provides direct ESL instruction in accordance with the latest WIDA and AMSA Standards.• Creates and revises core ELL curriculum.• Tracks student success through progress monitoring and reports.• Communicates with students’ families on a regular basis.• Differentiates instruction to meet the needs of ELL students across ELD levels.• Provides support to classroom teachers through a hybrid push-in model.• Collaborates and consults with classroom teachers to create and implement SEI• Administers necessary tests and screeners (ACCESS and Screener). Knowledge and Qualifications: • Possesses a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in English as a Second Language (ESL)• Possesses an SEI Endorsement• Bachelors or higher academic degree from an accredited college or university• Current authorization to work in the United States.
