ASSEMBLER-FABRICATOR

Advanced Mat Systems is the leading manufacturer of built-to-order exterior flooring products. This is a full-time position. This position requires experience in urethane cast pouring, use of hopper gun, electric heat trace, etc. to build custom mats, panels, and other products.

Summary: Under the direction of a supervisor, you must be able to read drawings, accurately frame molds, mix & pour urethane, apply coatings along with other general duties. Maintain an organized work environment. Maintain high level of safety, uphold project specifications, document project time, and keep schedules.

Skills / Qualifications / Requirements

• Min 5 years manufacturing experience in either Framing / Construction /Assembler-Fabricator
• Read a tape measure and accurately frame from basic drawings.
• Measure and mark lines with precision.
• Shape or cut materials to specific dimensions using hand tools and/or power tools.
• Proficiently and safely use hand and power tools.
• General assembly, wiring, testing, and production process roles according to SOPs and work instructions
• Clean and organize the work environment with general maintenance.
• Support the team.
• Can easily lift/carry/push/pull up to 75 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. - 5-gallon pails and move from one location to another.
• Must be able to perform walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
• Work requires strength and stamina (moving/standing)
• Working in an open-air facility with varying temperatures up to 100°

• Experience with urethanes.
• Electrical heat trace experience is a plus.
• Hopper/sprayer experience a plus.

Qualified Candidate MUST:

• MUST have a minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing OR carpentry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to speak, read and write English well enough to read technical documents and effectively communicate with team members.
• Possess a great work ethic and integrity.
• Be enthusiastic and energetic.
• Have a valid driver’s license and vehicle or reliable transportation (No public transportation in area)
• Willingness to learn new things and contribute ideas and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass random drug tests and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
