New Patient Coordinator and Insurance Verification Specialist Responsibilities:

Initial Patient Contact:

• Serve as the first point of contact for new patients, assessing their suitability for our practice's services.
• Engage in follow-up communications to ensure patients are well-informed and prepared for their appointments.

• Medical Records and Pre-Appointment Preparation:
• Coordinate the collection of necessary medical records prior to appointments, ensuring the medical assistant has all required documentation.
• Send appointment reminders and make calls to confirm patients have completed all necessary paperwork in advance.

• Appointment Management:
• Schedule appointments, meticulously inputting patient information into their charts to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

• Insurance Verification:
• Conduct thorough insurance verifications for each new and recurring patient, utilizing insurance portals and direct calls to ensure coverage details are current and accurate before appointments.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients to resolve any discrepancies or gather additional information as needed.

This role demands a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring a seamless and supportive patient experience from initial contact through to appointment completion.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
