QC Technician (Electrical Test)

$20-25 DOE

Overview

Inspect and electrically test control panels in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect panels for fit and finish.
  • Continuity checking of electrical circuits and troubleshooting of wiring issues
  • Variable frequency drive programming
  • Programmable logic controller flashing and setup
  • Attention to detail and self-motivated
  • Must be able to accurately complete test reports and other paperwork
  • Function testing of relay logic and PLC input/output to test drive, motor starters, etc.
  • Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement processes

Requirements

· Must be detail-oriented.

· Must practice good/safe housekeeping.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Must comply with PPE requirements.

· Ability to read and understand electrical schematics is required. This includes knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components and general wiring practices.

· Intermediate understanding of AC and DC circuits is required.

· Previous control panel building/testing experience is preferred.

· Previous experience with 480V industrial panels is highly preferred

· Current UL MTR certification is highly preferred

· Employee must be proficient in both spoken and written English

· Ability to distinguish colors

· Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work may also be required in a seated position.

This position is a safety-sensitive position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
