Purpose: The Purpose of this role is to support AIS's purpose of providing technology that works for our clients and revolutionizes their business while providing service they'll fall in love with.

Job Functions: The Finance Manager is a critical member of our finance team responsible for exemplifying our culture, overseeing financial reporting, and making sure rules and regulations are being followed.

Daily tasks include but not limited to:

• Provide consultation with respect to accounting principles generally accepted in the U.S. (GAAP)
• Manage Financial System processes to ensure the integrity of ERP data for financial reporting.
• Assist in Management of internal reporting activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of data, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards/regulations
• Oversee the reporting and operational planning calendar to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely production of budget and financial reporting information
• Partner and consult with department heads, managers, and supervisors to ensure alignment of the Company`s accounting activities with business and corporate needs
• Manages department functions including, but not limited to, banking reports, budgets, forecasts, and projections
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
• Ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of the company's financials
• Financial planning as directed by the company President and COO/CFO to steer the company towards its business goals
• Monitor relationships and cash flow
• Measures risk and identifies options and alternatives to challenges
• Hire, train, manage and develop finance administration personnel and their KPIs
• Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations
• Implement processes and procedures to ensure effective controls and alignment with regulatory requirements
• Manage Enterprise vehicle Fleet
• Payroll Journal entries
• Maintain business license renewals
• Review and approve payroll for processing
• Assist with month end closing
• Minimal travel may be required
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Working Conditions:

• General working hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with limited absences/tardiness. Additional hours as required to complete objectives. Attend occasional networking events, webinars, and training

• Challenging assignments where taking decisive action based on readily available information is important to achieving desired results

Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum, a Bachelor`s Degree in Accounting, Finance or work experience related to role
• 5 years of progressively responsible accounting, finance, and management experience
• Strong working knowledge of accounting (GAAP) and knowledge of SEC standards and regulations
• Ability to analyze variances to budgets/forecasts/accruals and explain to management with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Knowledge of Human Resources, employee fringe benefits packages, labor, and workplace guidelines.
• Understands finance and accounting as a business language
• Is technical and detail talented
• Possesses basic understanding of legal, business, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Understands the industry, business and how each segment impacts the other disciplines of the organization
• Highly proficient in Excel
