**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional service to our patients. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs and style preferences.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist patients in selecting frames that complement their facial features and prescription requirements

- Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyeglasses

- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and enhancements

- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed

- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses

- Maintain inventory of frames and supplies

- Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure seamless patient care

**Requirements:**

- Experience working with optical systems and equipment

- Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures

- Familiarity with medical records management

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical billing practices

- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate the value of different products and services

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Certification as an Optician is preferred but not required
