Description

Image Engineering was founded as a company that pushes boundaries, develops new ideas through design and fabrication, and is a leader in the visual display and special effects industry. We are comprised of a team of artists, engineers, event producers, fabricators, and creative thinkers.

We have worked all over the United States completing thousands of projects in the field of creative multimedia shows for clients such as Paul McCartney, the Trans Siberian Orchestra, the Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, and multiple professional sports franchises in the NFL, NBA, and NHL. We have also created permanent and temporary interactive installations for world-class venues including the Staples Center and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Our strength lies in the broad range of techniques and custom special effects solutions we use to create first-class spectaculars including laser effects, video projection and mapping, pyrotechnics, architectural lighting installs, custom-constructed sets, and bespoke engineered special effect solutions for live events and permanent applications.

Role Description

Warehouse Fulfillment Manager

Full Time (On-site), Salary

M-F, 9:00 AM –5:30 PM

Overtime in the evenings and weekends may be required

Job Summary

As a Warehouse Fulfillment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and accurate fulfillment of orders within our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that orders are processed promptly, accurately, and by company standards. You will manage a team of warehouse staff, coordinating their activities to maximize productivity and minimize errors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Logistics to strategize equipment requirements for multiple concurrent shows.
  • Execute precise packing instructions provided by the Director of Logistics for each show, ensuring adherence to verbal and written guidelines.
  • Supervise and allocate tasks to Warehouse Technicians and Special Effects Technicians to facilitate the preparation, packing, and reception of assets in warehouse operations.
  • Train new Warehouse and Special Effects Technicians in Warehouse Operations processes and procedures
  • Provide coaching and feedback to Warehouse and Special Effects Technicians as necessary
  • Work with Warehouse, Fabrication/Integration, and Engineering teams to secure/schedule internal and external resources for equipment repairs or replacement
  • Develop procedures and policies that can help improve the consistency of performance of warehouse operations
  • Keep a safe and well-maintained workspace by keeping shelves, pallets, and workstations neat
  • Work with the management team to administer required Compliance and Professional Development training for Team Members
  • Routinely complete compliance training and maintain OSHA and Company-related compliance policies
  • Follow company procedures and directives
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Responsibilities of Direct Reports

  • Inspecting, verifying, and counting equipment for accuracy and overall condition before shipping gear
  • Inputting new inventory into the inventory management system
  • Scanning all equipment through our inventory management system
  • Packing gear in storage containers for shipment according to the Gear List prepared by the Director of Logistics
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing equipment coming back from shows
  • Performing basic inventory maintenance when necessary
  • Conducting local pick-ups and deliveries using Company-owned vehicles
  • Preparing packages for shipment
  • Receiving shipments from 3rd parties

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years warehouse experience preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years management experience preferred
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to learn how to repair special effects and event production equipment
  • Forklift certification preferred; Willing to be certified on and operate forklifts regularly
  • Comfortable utilizing ladders up to 12’
  • Able to frequently walk, bend, squat, balance, lift, and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Must successfully complete background checks and drug tests
  • 18 years of age or older
  • A valid U.S. Driver’s License required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
